Find a gown that suits your shape and is comfortable as well as
making you look good.
Research basic gown shapes and neck lines and what style suits
your body shape. Someone who is tall and slim should avoid severe
styles with straight lines.
Alternatively if you have a fuller figure avoid frills and flounces.
Wide hips can be smoothed out with a smooth bodice and shaped dropped
waist.
Three quarter length sleeves will also help balance out a broader
hip line.
For someone who is petite, a gown trimmed with, for example lace
and a skirt and sleeves which are not too full looks better.
Remember when you envisage your perfect day to keep your self vision
realistic! What image are you trying to project?
Think colour - this years most fashionable brides are wearing lilac.
You could opt for silver, gold, pastels or go for your favourite
colour!
